Our Temple Idea

I don't have any pictures to post, sorry. I know that is why people like looking at blogs in the first place. Give me another day or two. But I just have to share this idea especially since many of our friends now are having babies and their families are growing.
So Josh and I, as I am sure most, try to attend the temple as often as they can. And when you start to have little babies it is so hard to leave them, especially if your nursing. I hate it, I hate it, I hate. Though I am so grateful we have family close to watch them when we do need to get away and have time for oursleves. Anyway so here is our idea:
The Idaho Falls Temple, has the walk-in policy now (well it started a while ago) - I'm pretty sure it's a church-wide thing, so that you can walk-in and do temple work at your convience. After Grant was born we started going to the temple as a family. Josh would go inside and do one sheet of inititories, which only takes 30 min., while I walk around the temple grounds with the boys, and then we switch. It has been so much fun and such a good family activity because Benson is learning the importance of the temple. He asks to go to the temple, when we play blocks he wants to build a temple, when he pretends to go "bye, bye" he says he's going to the temple. I just had to share this idea because I know when you are trying to go on dates with your spouse and trying to go to the temple often, a babysitter can get pretty costly. I am so grateful for the walk-in policy, it was truely inspired.
I am sorry for those of you who have no idea of what I'm talking about. I'll just say that the temple plays an important role in the LDS religon. I know our family has been blessed for doing temple work, just as people are when they go to church. Temple work includes doing ordinances and making covenants with God to keep his commandments. I could really spend alot of time explaining this so if you have questions, just let me know.
