Porter Brigham Versey

He finally made it here, Wed. May 5 at about 2:45 a.m. That would be why I look so exhausted in this Picture. I knew I was in labor for good about 6p.m. Wed night but wanted to stay at home as long as possible because I have VBAC's I didn't want to be stuck in a bed, so Josh and I put on a moive around 11p.m. and about halfway through I was done and ready to go to the hospital. So we woke Benson and Grant and told them it was time to get Porter from the hospital. Benson woke up immediately because he was so excited. We dropped the boys off at my sis-in-laws and as soon as we got in the van my contractions went from 4 mins apart to 2 mins apart. To make a long story short, when the doctor checked me I was at an 8, (I figured since I had made it this far I wanted to do it without an epidural) he broke my water and about 15 mins, later I was ready to push.  We were at the hospital a little over an hour before Porter was born. It was the best experience yet and I would do it like this every time if I could, but from my experience with Benson I learned that very seldom does it work out the way you plan, so you just have to be flexible.
He was 7 lbs. 14 oz and 20 3/4 in. long with lots of dirty blonde hair.

Here are my "4 best boys".
And our first family picture.
Here's the little man.
