Halloween is so much fun when you have children! There is so much to do. We went to a pumpkin patch with our homeschool group. The children got to ride the train and pick out pumpkins.
Benson, Grant, and I carved pumpkins. I didn't dare let the boys cut them so they told me what kind of eyes, nose, and mouth they wanted their pumpkins to have. They loved digging out the snot of the pumpkin.Sunday night we had our annual Halloween Party. This is why I want to have a big family. There is no one else I would rather party with than family and we get together it is always a party.
Caleb and Sarah (as each other)
Dan and Melissa (as Peter Pan and Tinker Bell)
Wayne (as Indiana Jones)
Naomi (as an injured person, because she really is)
Josh and myself (as hippies)
Rachael and Mark (as Mario and Princess Peach)
Melissa planned some awesome "Minute to Win It Games". They were so much fun.
This game is called "Junk in the Trunk"
Is this game you have to slide the cookie from your forehead to you mouth using your facial muscles.
I am eating some yummy and creative food.
Monday, Josh had class, left at 7:30 a.m. and got home about 9:30 p.m. so I took the boys to Josh's dads Trunk or Treat. I love Trunk or Treats! They are the best idea ever. Afterwards we stopped by some friends homes to say hi and let the boys trick or treat. They were good sports even though it was cold and they were tired from the night before.
Every time Porter (Elmo) got a piece of candy he did a little dance. It was pretty cute.Grant had 4 costumes to choose from but he insisted on being a pumpkin again. (That is what he was last year.) The costume had to be uncomfortable for him because it was so tight. Oh well...he has a mind of his own.
Benson was Spiderman.
I love my boys.
