Beau's Blessing

We blessed Beau the first Sunday in September. My Mom, Dad, Chris, Shane and Wendy and her family came for this special occasion. Babies are obviously a blessing but also in a way that it brings family together. I love that it gives us an excuse to get together and celebrate. 

We took my family spelunking to 17 mile cave.  

 The kids loved it but it was a good reminder that my parents are getting old when my dad tripped and fell and hit his head on a rock. He was OK but I felt bad.

Wow! Let me just say Beau's blessing dress was way easier to make than any of the boys rompers and I love the way it turned out. Each of my childrens blessing outfits has some piece of my wedding dress. On Beau's, the whole bodice is made from my wedding dress. I love that they all have a piece of it. 

After paying a professional for our last family pictures, I broke down and bought a nice professional camera off ebay because, dang, it was expensive. So this was my first time trying to take nice pictures and playing with photo shop - which is why Grants eyes look kind of freaky.
